Office Manager | Warrants Clerk Civil Clerk | Social Worker Social Worker - Sheriff Boswell is appointed by the Courts of Russell County to be Conservator / Guardian over elderly and mentally incapacitated individuals that have no one who is willing or capable to care for them or manage their money. The Social Worker is responsible for attending any and all court hearings on cases, and works also with the Department of Human Resources on monitoring the well-being of all cases, deposits their social security checks and ensures that all bills and needs are taken care of properly. This employee is responsible for making regular visits to the Nursing Homes, Foster Care Homes and individual homes to ensure that these individuals are being taken care of and have the necessary items that they need. This employee also transports individuals to Doctor appointments and does their grocery shopping for them.
