• Sheriff Heath Taylor presents proceed checks to four local charities from 2011 Stampede Rodeo. An estimated 4000 citizens attended the very successful 2 night event which was hosted by The Russell County Sheriff's Department and The Russell County Cattleman's Association. Each of the 4 charities received a check for $1300.00 each. Pictured left to right is Lynn Hammock from Russell County Child Advocacy Center and Thomas Snyder from Cora Reid Greene home for children.
